GREAT JOB IN SCHOOL!!

Schools out!! Our kids did a great job this year!! Thomas finished out the year with all A's. He also received an award that few kids get. Throughout the year kids receive character awards. Well.. Thomas received all 7 throughout the year. He was recognized for this. Jaida also received the same honors as Thomas, all A's and the character counts award. Damin received double gold honor roll. This award is given to students who was on the honor roll all semesters. he also received the same character award as Thomas and Jaida. Sariah received an honor roll award for being on the honor roll for two semesters. Jason was a little short on awards this year.. I do think he would of received the class clown award if it was given. Keep trying Jason. We are so proud of our kids who try really hard. Sarah and I are not much help so all the credit goes to them. Good job Valenzuelas!!

MOTHERS DAY OUT

A couple of weeks before mothers day I was on the Big I 107.9 web site. I saw a contest that they were holding a weekend stay, breakfast and spa treatment at the Tamaya resort. I had to submit a picture of Sarah first thing in the morning. I found this picture of Sarah (Its really before bedtime) and e-mailed it to them with a description of her hard working life. I received an e-mail from miles telling me "Good job Jason. She's in the running". Well I never heard from them again. I thought she didn't win. The other day Sarah talked to Susanne. Susanne asked how was her stay. Sarah had no idea what she was talking about. Sarah's picture was on their website. She won!! This was Thursday 5-28-09. I e-mailed the morning show hoping the prize was still available.. It was! I picked up the prize on Friday which expired on Sunday.. Crud! I was able to book a room for Saturday night. What a awesome place. We had a great time Saturday evening by ourselves (sorry kids). I had to pick up the kids up early in the morning so they could go swimming. We loved the resort life. We hope to win another contest so we can experience it again. Sorry about the pic Sarah. I love you!

Let's try this blogging deal

Well, hello blogging world! This is one of many attempts to start something. Lets see how long we keep it up. I am very proud of my family and would like to share our progress with family and friends. As you can imagine we as a family are very busy and always running. Jason and Damin are playing little league, GO REDHAWKS!!, thankfully on the same team. Thomas is also playing. GO DODGERS!! Jaida just finished playing soccer. What a awsome little athlete. She gave all the boys some fierce competition. Sariah is also busy being a big sister and helping Sarah. And George.......or should I say Prince George. Every one is at his beck and call. Sarah busy as ever!! Appliance repair is her gift and her services are greatly desired. Thanks Sarah for all you do.
